In short
- Prices are in euros and include VAT.
- You get access to your course right after payment.
- Because access is immediate, you agree at checkout that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once you have access.
- If a course isn’t as described or doesn’t work, we fix it or refund you.
- Questions or problems: email [email protected].
1. Who sells the courses
ManaScholar Academy is a trade name of Chinnovations, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak):
- Address
- Apollolaan 175 H, 1077 AS Amsterdam, the Netherlands
- [email protected]
- Chamber of Commerce (KvK)
- 91573335
- VAT (BTW)
- NL004900486B47
In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Chinnovations, and “you” means the buyer.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to every purchase of a course on manascholar.academy. Where they mention your rights as a consumer, they mean you buy as a private person, not for your business. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that consumer law gives you.
3. The courses
Our courses are digital content: lessons you read and work through on a phone, tablet or computer. Each course’s page describes what it contains, its format and what you need to use it. That description is part of our agreement.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in euros and include VAT. The price shown when you place your order is the price you pay. If a price is obviously wrong, for example because of a typing error, we don’t have to sell at that price; we tell you, and you can cancel the order or buy at the right price.
You pay in full when you order, with one of the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are handled by Mollie B.V.
5. Your order and our agreement
Our agreement is made when you complete your order and your payment succeeds. We then email you a confirmation with your order details, these terms and your choice about immediate access (see section 7). If the payment fails, there is no agreement.
6. Access to your course
Right after your payment succeeds, you get access to the course as described on its page, and we email you how to reach it. Didn’t get access? Email us and we’ll sort it out. If we still can’t give you access, you can end the agreement and get your money back.
7. Your right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you can normally withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. For digital content like our courses, those 14 days start on the day our agreement is made.
Immediate access ends that right. Our courses are delivered right after payment. At checkout, you ask us to give you access right away, and you confirm that you then lose your right of withdrawal. We confirm this in your order email. Once you have access, you can no longer withdraw. Your rights if the course is faulty (section 9) stay.
If you didn’t give that consent and confirmation, or we didn’t confirm it in your order email, you keep your right of withdrawal for 14 days. To use it, tell us clearly before the 14 days are over, for example by email to [email protected]. You can use the model withdrawal form below, but you don’t have to. We refund everything you paid within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, with the same payment method you used and at no cost to you. After withdrawing, stop using the course and delete any copies.
8. Using the course
When you buy a course, you get a personal licence to use it yourself. Please don’t share your access or the files with others, and don’t copy, resell, publish or reuse the course material in your own courses or products. Want to use a course with a club, a class or a group? Email us and we’ll work something out.
9. If something is wrong
A course must match its description and work as we promise, and you get the updates needed to keep it that way for as long as you can reasonably expect. If it doesn’t, tell us. We fix it within a reasonable time at no cost to you. If we can’t or don’t, you can ask for a lower price or, unless the problem is minor, end the agreement and get your money back. These are your legal rights under Dutch consumer law; these terms never limit them.
10. Complaints
Not happy? Email [email protected] with your order details and what went wrong. We confirm we received your complaint and answer within 14 days. If we need longer, we tell you within those 14 days when you can expect our answer.
11. Buying under 18
If you’re under 18, ask a parent or guardian for permission before you buy.
12. Privacy
We use your personal data only as our privacy statement describes.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version you accepted when you ordered applies to that order. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
14. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies to our agreement. If you’re a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of that country’s mandatory consumer law. A dispute we can’t solve together goes to the competent court in the Netherlands; as a consumer, you can also go to the courts where you live.
Model withdrawal form
Fill in and send this form only if you want to withdraw from the agreement and still have the right to (see section 7). Email is fine.
